So who’s getting an iPad?

Yesterday Apple announced the pricing for the Australian version of the iPad. At first, I was led to believe that Australians were only going to be able to get a WIFI model, but as it turns out we get the WIFI + 3G one as well! Prices are in line with what I would have expected.

Pricing is listed below as taken from the Apple web site.

So who’s going to get one?? I’m still struggling to see what this would be good for, unless you were a frequent traveller. So I’ll hold my decision until I actually get to play with one.

Telstra has also come to the party (yeah, I know I didn’t expect it this soon either!). They have announced their pre-paid data pricing for the iPad…and it’s very competitive!

I would like one but it's not in the budget atm. On a lighter note, this is a rather funny parody having a dig at the iPad and apple in general...
